A possible prayer based on Romans 13:
“Thank you, Father, that your promises are ‘yes’ and ‘amen’ in Jesus, our Lord, and that his return is getting closer with each passing day. I pray I may throw off any impassivity that has developed in my heart, wake up from any spiritual slumber, and commit myself wholeheartedly to following Jesus – to your praise and glory. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.”
