A heavenly perspective
Hello.
This week I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watch the Artemis II mission. Hasn’t it been awesome! Not only have we witnessed their journey around the moon but now, after a 6-minute deafening silence when they had no radio contact, we’ve also seen the astronauts land safely back on earth!
How come we can wonder at the marvels of space travel, but we can’t solve the wars around our precious jewel of a planet?
James, who was the brother of Jesus Christ, explained it was to do with wrong motives. Listen to what he wrote in James 4:1-2 (NIV): “What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God”.
What humanity need to do is to become motivated by godly intentions, and that’s only possible through turning to Jesus.
Let’s change our motives.
Warm regards,
Gavin
