Adventure Camp has been a fun and safe place for young people to learn and grow together for many years. They and their teams try new things, push themselves and enjoy being away together, whilst making new friends. The setting of the Sir john Lowther centre is beautiful and the kids make the most of the wide open spaces, woods and excellent facilities.

Adventure Camp is a Christian weekend summer camp funded by Grace Communion International. It combines outdoor sports, getting creative, quiet time and noisy time, one on one to all camp activities and all in the supportive and encouraging family that is Adventure Camp – through all of this it is our goal to make Adventure Camp reflective of the Christian principles of love and service.

Not everyone at Adventure Camp is necessarily a committed Christian and we respect every individual wherever they are on their spiritual journey. SEP is not a place where you will be judged. Instead, we strive to make it a place where lasting friendships can be found and everyone is given the opportunity to learn and grow.

The safety and well-being of campers is our top priority:

– All Adventure Camp staff have required safeguarding checks for working with children. All staff have up to date Child Protection training. If you wish to learn more about our Child Protection Policy, please email info@gracecom.church.

– Teaching staff hold appropriate national governing body qualifications – this includes staff from Sir John Lowther

– We have first aiders on site at all times – the health forms should be able to address all medical needs but do feel free to speak to the team via the email address mentioned above.

– Our FAQ section contains the answers to the most commonly asked questions, but if you need to know anything else at all, please Contact Us.
