Day 41 – 25 March 2024 – John 19:1-27

Today we start our final week of reading through the Gospel of John together. As we start chapter 19, we read of Jesus’ final moments before his death and resurrection. As you reflect on this passage, please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us via our Facebook page!

If you want to listen to this passage as audio, Bible Gateway offer a number of resources which you can access via this link:

A possible prayer based on John 19:1-27 is:

“Heavenly Father, as I contemplate those who were implicated in the terrible and unjust treatment of the Lord Jesus Christ, may I not be one who carelessly points an accusing finger at those who condemned him, knowing that I am also to blame – for while I was a still a sinner, Christ died for my sins so that by his grace through faith, I might be saved. He is indeed worthy of all praise and glory. Thank you in Jesus’ name, amen.”
