Hello.
As Europe approaches VE day on Thursday of next week there are many TV and Radio programs plus newspaper articles about what happened. Some of them feature “You were there” ideas from surviving soldiers and civilians.
It reminds me of the old Johnny Cash song about how Christians are involved in the events of Jesus’ life, especially at the cross.
One version of the song includes the words, “Were you there when he rose up from the dead?” And, in faith, of course we were! Because of Jesus, we have the victory and walk a new life with him!
We were there!
The song continues, “Sometimes I feel like shouting ‘Glory, Glory, Glory!’”
Don’t you sometimes?
