Winner or loser?

Are you a winner or a loser?
This was the question that was at the forefront of millions of people’s mind as the British Chancellor presented her new budget for the UK government. The budget determines the tax rates and benefit levels for the coming years and can have a significant impact on a household’s finances.
The challenge is that there is only so much money to go around, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep providing the benefits and services we are used to without increasing taxes.
No matter how the budget affected you, the good news is that God never needs to budget or limit his grace. Ephesians 2:4-5 tells us: “God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved”
No matter how human governments might impact us, God’s grace remains abundant.
