Salvation or fury
Hello.
Does God want to save us from ourselves?
Some wonder whether it is God’s intention to end the world in an epic fury of rage as he unleashes his wrath on us because we have not listened to him. Will it be that God’s judgment on us is one of condemnation and disapproval?
God’s desire to save us dominates both the Old and the New testaments. In fact, Jesus came originally “to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10 NIV), and, when he comes again in glory, it is still with salvation in mind. John explains this more in Revelation 19:1: “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God”.
God’s purpose of salvation stands no matter what the future holds.
Turn to him and place your hope in him.
Best regards,
James
