Cease Fire!

Hello.

Did you heave a sigh of relief when you heard of the ceasefire extension in the Middle East? And now it appears as if hostilities may begin again!

We all need a ceasefire.

When Paul wrote to the church in Rome, he told the Christians there to, “if it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone” (Romans 12:18). Following Christ means laying down our pride, choosing forgiveness, and taking the first step towards reconciliation.

As Christians, if we’re involved in any kind of fighting — spoken or unspoken — let’s call a ceasefire.

In a fractured world, may we reflect the peace of Christ wherever we are.
