Reach out to God
Hello.
As I listened to the news about NASA’s plan to build a lunar space station, it occurred to me that it is not the moon we need to reach, it is the God who put it there!
Of course, if we inhabited the moon or even Mars or beyond, we would plunder them for precious resources, just as have done to our own blue jewel of a planet.
The Living Bible version of Psalm 8 tells us that, as we consider the “the night skies”, “the moon and the stars”, we have a responsibility because we are “in charge of everything”. The reference is about how we manage or mismanage the Earth, which is part of God’s excellent and majestic universe.
What do you think? Have we done well in this?
Surely it is time to reach out to God the Father, believe in his Son Jesus, and let the Holy Spirit motivate every one of us to care more for the world around us?
Best regards,
James
