The New Covenant
Hello.
Who does not feel a massive sense of relief that the US and Iran have agreed, through mediation, to a Memorandum of Understanding? A MOU, as it is known, is typically a non-binding statement of intent.
Did you know, however, that God has given us an unconditional, binding memorandum of understanding? It is the New Covenant, and it is about peace!
It is Jesus who has mediated this memorandum of understanding “Our reconciling “Peace” is Jesus!… By dying as our sacrifice, he has broken down every wall of prejudice that separated us and has now made us equal through our union with Christ…. we live restored to God and reconciled in the body of Christ. Through his crucifixion, hatred died.” (Ephesians 2:14, 16 TPT)
The deal is that, since Christ died for all of us so that we may receive eternal life, why perpetuate any kind of animosity towards others? After all, we are one family under God!
Embrace the spirit of the New Covenant.
